11.06.2016I treat this as a cosmetic when I want to feel more confident and need a pick me up. I sprinkle a light dusting of Toppik to the crown and sides to thicken up the appearance of my hair. I take care to use a light hand or the fibers land all over the place. I would suggest using this product over the bathroom sink in case of messes. I comb through my hair to mix the fibers with my hair so there is more natural look to it. If you don't find the right color, there can be a noticeable variation with your natural hair color. You might want to try two different shades to get a more custom look. I set my hair with hair spray and can go about my day and do most activities without fear of the fibers falling out. I would caution against vigorous exercise that would make you sweat. There can be little dark spots from the fibers that form when you sweat on the scalp. The same is true if you are in the rain. This product is not meant to be wet so definitely no swimming with it.
